Day 6: 180 mg

Verse of the Day: Luke 12:32
Do not be afraid little flock for your father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.

8:45 a.m.
I have always taken pride in the fact that I can fall asleep at the drop of a hat and don't need to set an alarm because my body wakes up naturally at the right time. That has changed for the time being however. I overslept by quite a bit yesterday, so I set an alarm for this morning. It rang at 6 a.m. and I fell back asleep until 6:45. My body and brain are definitely not working as they usually do when it comes to sleep.

3:00 p.m.
Not especially tired this afternoon. Just an average day.

Day 5: 180 mg

Verse of the Day: 2 Corinthians 12:9
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

8:30 a.m.
Slept 10 hours and woke up extremely groggy. Took a phone call before taking the pills and had a great deal of difficulty just holding a conversation. It was bad enough to be embarrassing. I sounded like a drunk person. I took the pills after I hung up and ten minutes later my brain was clear. This was a very good reminder of why I'm doing this. I don't like being this dependent upon caffeine and not being able to function without it.

7 p.m.
I was a bit groggy this afternoon but made it through the day.

Day 4: 180 mg

Verse for the day: Job19:25-26
For I know that my Redeemer lives,
and at the last he will stand upon the earth.
And after my skin has been thus destroyed,
yet in my flesh I shall see God.

7:00 a.m.
Today was the first day on 180 mg. I felt like I didn't sleep well anyway and was really groggy this morning even after I took the caffeine pills. I went back to bed for a couple of hours and feel much better although my energy still a little lower than I would like.

2:45 p.m.
Feel fine this afternoon. Not tired. No complaints.

6:30 p.m.
Yawning a lot and earlier than usual, but otherwise, no change.

Day 3: 200 mg.

Verse of the day: John 3:16:
For God so loved the world that he gave his only son Jesus Christ that whosoever believes in him would not perish but have everlasting life.

7:00 a.m.
200 mg and some breakfast. Dragging a bit this morning.

11:15 a.m.
I'm a bit sleepy. Nothing I can't manage but definitely noticeable.

3:30 p.m.
Low energy this afternoon.

Day 2: 200 mg.

Today's verse: Deuteronomy 7:9
Understand, therefore, that the LORD your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands.

7 a.m.
200 mg on an empty stomach. No problems. Ate breakfast an hour later. Feel fine.

12:30 p.m.
Doing some hard work around the house and sweating a lot. I'm holding up fine except for getting a little nauseous from getting so hot. My afternoon soda would be nice but I'm ok.  I'm drinking lots of water and other decaf diet drinks.

3:15 p.m.
Took a 60 minute nap after the house work.
Woke up and ate. Feel normal for this time of day.

7:45 p.m.
Had some significant dizziness in the form of feeling like the room around me was moving while brushing my teeth. I sat down on the bed and it has improved 90%. I experience this every now and then so I can't definitively tie it to caffeine withdrawal.

Day 1: 200 mg.

abc

Verse of the day: Psalm 27:1
The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

8:00 a.m.

Slept well as usual. Ate oatmeal and took 200mg. Feels the same as drinking two cups of coffee. Nothing different.

2:30 p.m.

I still feel fine no headaches or drowsiness. Normally by now I would have had at least 1 diet dr. Pepper and possibly two. I expected to feel more drowsy this afternoon than I do. I'm hopeful that it's the l-theanine that's helping.

5:45 p.m.

It's been a good day! I can't tell any difference. Yet...  :P

Day 6: 180 mg

Verse of the Day: Luke 12:32 Do not be afraid little flock for your father has been pleased to give you the kingdom. 8:45 a.m. I have always...
